On my MacBook Air, a folder on desktop just appeared one day. when I put it in the trash, it comes back the next time I turn my Mac back on. how do I get rid of it or ind out where its coming from?!

May be there is an app creating this folder on start up.
What folder keeps reappearing on your desktop?
Its called native and has a folder called log in it thats empty
