Yesterday I turned off my mac when it had only 5 % battery charge and today when I try to charge it it want show any sign of charging. It shows that the battery is dead but when I plug it it wont help.
Also I know that the charger is working for sure it charges my iPad.
And this happened two weeks ago and then I tried to charge it two days latter and it charged. How can I fix this issue?

Ok, just be advised an iPad's power adapter will be inadequate for a Mac: Find the right power adapter and cable for your Mac notebook - Apple Support. Emphasis on the cable because it's frequently overlooked.

Im using the charger that came with my macbook, and as it is usbc it changes my ipad too
Also it the battery is dead so it won’t reset the SMC, I have tried but nothing changed
