disabled ipad

my iPad has been disabled and even though my apple ID has been the same since always when I login to iTunes there is no show of my iPad, why is that and how can i open my disabled device again w/out having to erase my data? also my iPad is kinda old too

Once your iPad is disabled, there is only ONE option. That means you will have to erase it using your computer with iTunes. If you have backed up your iPad, you can restore your data from backup. If you have not backed up your iPad, your data is gone.
