im Using iPhone XS . I’m not able see WhatsApp messaging icon In the contact details of any contact save in my phone.
i can able to see WhatsApp video call icon but not the message icon.
In my previous iPhone, I could easily find the WhatsApp contact number if multiple phone numbers saved for a single person is my phone book.

Which ever mode of communication you use frequently is what takes priority and displayed. Tap and hold the Call, Video etc as shown in the GIF below
On each of the option, you will find small "v" at the right hand side of options. Tap to get the Phone number associated with the option (Skype, WhatsApp, Hangouts, FaceTime etc)
