How can I access messages from April? My history stops on May 26?

It sounds like you're not seeing messages before May 26th, and we'd like to see if we can help.
Do you use Messages in iCloud? If so, are you able to see the older messages on other devices? Learn more here: Keep all your messages in iCloud
Also, if you search in Messages, do you see the older messages, or do they not appear at all?
