Airpods pro drop

I made a forum post on airpods, but I never got a response so I'm throwing it on iphone accessories as well in hopes to get a response.

When you drop airpods pro, does the case open up and the airpods go flying just like the original airpods? I dropped my regular airpods from waist height and they exploded all over the bicycle lane. Just wondering if the pros do the same.
