I can't call a contact on my iPhone
Why can’t I call a contact by using the call icon under contacts name. I have double checked DND call forwarding blocked get romps etc

All the above has nothing to do with unable to make calls. They will only cease call receiving
Try this --> If you are unable make a call or receive; If you can't make or receive calls on your iPhone - Apple Support.
