I bought a gift card and couldn’t redeem my gift card to buy anything on the iTunes Store it says code already redeemed when I had just bought it at target so can you refund me back my $50 or find out why the code is already redeemed what I just bought this

We are not Apple - this is a User-to-User forum. But this ultimately Target’s call. No one here has any call in transactions. So, take it up with Target.
Take it back to Target. Bring Along:
The Transaction:
When you get there, ask to speak with the M.O.D. (Manager on Duty), and request a refund. Next, while at the cash register - User your cell phone to add it to your Apple Account right then-and-there after the Transaction goes through. I would assume you would be all set from there.

Take it to to Pharmacy:
If it's already been redeemed, then take it to the pharmacy. Seems a scam - perhaps a returned item. This time, add it to your account at the cash register. No one here has access to your account information, nor has any call in transactions. Ask the what your options are for return. Gift Card return policies vary by rules of law. So, take to the Manager, asking if you can get a new card.
Avoiding Scams:
So, go to a retailer, and then add it to your Apple Account right then-and-there after the transaction goes through at the cash register. It'd be more safe, from what read on these forums.
