cant plug in charging cable airpods pro

I went to charge my AirPods Pro and the cable won’t plug into the case, there is some black stuff inside, idk if this is normal or not. What can I do?

Hello,

You'll have to try to clean out the charging port. Try using a bright light and a tooth pick etc. It is similar to clean out the charging port on your phone:

If your AirPods won’t charge
