iCloud account problem !

I bought a new apple device an iPad Pro and when I tried to log in with a new iCloud ID I couldn’t so I used an old one that I have and a free year Apple TV was included with my new device and it was linked to my old iCloud account ! I’ve changed to a new iCloud ID and the free Apple TV is linked to my old account, my question is how can I switch it to the new iCloud ??

However, why not use the existing AppleID. I can’t imagine you don’t have at least some downloads or purchases on it already. Those won’t transfer to the new ID either.
