I want to renew my cloud storage from 50gb to 200gb. My plan automatically renews itself on Aug 22 and i will like to upgrade to 200 gb. If i upgrade before Aug 22 will i lose the my other plan?

What happens when I’ve used all 50GB? I upgraded my iCloud storage to the additional 50GB, which means I pay $0.99 every month. However, I have already reached the 50GB.
