How to use my Mac as a display for my (windows 10) work laptop.
Hi, I have:
- a 2017 iMac, with thunderbolt 3 ports (home)
- a Dell Latitude 5285 table PC, with USB-C ports specced at usb-3 speed, not thunderbolt (work)
How can I work from my iMac? e.g. use a desktop on my iMac as a screen for my Windows PC.
I have tried:
1) Using Remote Desktop and VNC, to connect to my PC. (laggy and work don't like this)
2) AirServer type apps, AirPlay, I never go this working.
3) The native windows remote display. I never got a Mirriorcast Server on my mac to work ... :(
4) Cable and the mac "display mode" Command-F2. This does not appear to work on my Mac.
