Can you display the 'company name' field for incoming calls?

Hi,

Just wondering if their is a way to have the company name displayed on an incoming caller ID (other than actually changing the surname field to the company name).

I used to do the latter, but have just had to re-enter my entire work phone list (last phone nuked) and put the details in the proper areas.

Any thoughts/cheats that don't involve me having to redo the 200+ names again would be great.

Greetings brettinaus!

We see you are trying to have the company name displayed when someone is calling on the Caller ID. If you go into your contacts you can actually add a company name after the Last Name field and it will display when they call you. You can see how to add that following this article for Mac: Add people and companies to Contacts on Mac

For iOS devices you will want to go to Contacts > Select a contact > Edit > Company Name.

We hope that helps! Have a great rest of your day.

Hi chuck_3rd

I have the 'company names' details entered into all of my contacts. What I am hoping to find out information on, when the caller's name is displayed on the screen when they are calling, is how to have the company name text included in the caller name that is being displayed as the phone rings (currently it only shows the first name/ last name details while phone is ringing).
