How was the information lost and where is it missing from?
If you delete items in iCloud you can retrieve most of them from "Recently Deleted" in Files on iOS/iPadOS.
On Mac, most files deleted from iCloud appear in your Trash if deleted, and can be recovered from there.
Photos synced on iCloud can be retrieved by going to "Recently Deleted" on both iOS and macOS.
Most of the time, backups for devices cannot be recovered unless you have a Time Machine backup on Mac.
