Old non connected phone?
I bought my new phone and would like to keep the old and use it to play installed kids games. Is this possible? Will the old phone still turn on and read the installed book Green Eggs and Ham?

Yes, you can basically use it as an iPod. If you ever need to update it or restore it you will need to put a SIM back in it just to do that. It doesn't have to be a working SIM.
