We have gotten at least 10 calls today from supposedly apple support saying our icloud account has been breached.

We have gotten numerous calls, supposedly from Apple support, that our icloud account has been breached. Is this a scam and is there a way to contact Apple to see the validly of these calls?

Unfortunately, it is a very common scam attempt.

Apple does not make such calls.

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.
