Not getting notifications for one person after I updated to IOS 13.6.1

So I recently updated to IOS 13.6.1 and my phone before would get notifications easily without any problem, but right when I updated it I stoped getting notifications for one person on iMessage and I wouldn’t get the sound or the pop up for it, I checked all my settings, reseted my phone and all the options there and it still doesn’t work, I made sure all of the marks were checked off on messages and notifications and I still wouldn’t get notifications for one person, but when other people text me I get the messages, does anyone have an answer to this? Or is having the same problem

Hi Trevordon,


It sounds like you are receiving notifications for all your message threads but one. We'd be happy to help you.


Do you happen to know if "Hide Alerts" is currently enabled for the message thread? You can check this by opening the message thread, tap the top of the conversation and then tap the "i" icon. Once you have Details screen open, you should see an option to Hide Alerts. Be sure to turn this setting off it is currently enabled.


This step can also be found in the following article under the "How to mute your messages" section: Leave a group text on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


If this does not help, let us know what kind of reset you performed and if you set your iPhone up as new or if you restored from a backup after the reset.
