magic keyboard

I just bought an iPad Pro with the new Magic keyboard a week ago. I noticed that since today, I can’t type in Safari. My trackpad works perfectly but none of the keys work. They do in any other application.

How to rectify problems with Magic Keyboard? Certain keys in my Magic Keyboard aren’t working properly. For instance, some of the letters like i, l, o & m activates the cursor on my iPad instead of just typing out those letters. How do I rectify this? Please help!!!

I would restart the iPad and clean the connectors first
