MAPS APP: Remove FALSE ROAD CLOSURE

How do you get Apple to remove a falsely labeled road closure? This pertains to HWY 62 which is the road from Medford Oregon to Crater Lake. Someone has tagged a road closure, making the route impassable. Multiple complaints have been logged on the App to Apple for 3 months and nothing has been done about it.

Google Maps and Waze do not show this road closure.

just curious if the redesign is so great, why doesn’t it have the user interface functionality? Such as removing false road closures.

Apple does not “own” the maps; they are provided by Tomtom, who is responsible for their content. Tomtom updates their maps periodically (I think every 3 months), so you have to wait for Tomtom to get around to it. And Tomtom also need authorization from the agency that owns the road. Corrections to things like business names, addresses, etc are managed by Apple, but the roads themselves are out of Apple’s control.
