Well, searching with Google often reveals information. The Gen 669 for mat is an obscure music file format. The VLC app can open it. VLC is the Swiss Knife of video/audio playback and every Mac user should have it.

What I posted! Trying to open the svg. From a download and never ran into this before. Not sure what more I can add since the laptop popped up with that...so you do not know what gen669 format is either....

Can you post a link to the file?
If you downloaded it from a server using that ftp client— what photo app are you using to view it?
Try a vector graphics editor, such as Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash Professional, or CorelDRAW,
GraphicConverter can convert svg to PDF / and most likely view it as is.
What happens if you drag it to a open browser window?
