iPhone 8: forgotten password with no backup

I have tried my best to figure this one out on my own but with no success.

I managed to forget the passcode on my iPhone 8. It currently shows the message "iPhone is disabled, connect to iTunes". The issue is I do not have a backup of this phone on any computer and I have removed the iPhone from my iCloud account since having purchased a new phone. Subsequently, restoring from iTunes and Find My iPhone have both been ineffective in restoring the device. Is there anything I can do to restore the phone or is it a lost cause?

I understand that regardless I will lose all of the data that remains on the iPhone, I just want to know if there is any way I can do it on my own without having to bring it in the store.

Thanks.
