Unlike PC/Mac and other mainstream computers, with iOS/iPadOS you don’t (in fact, can’t) install stand-alone Printer Drivers. Instead iOS/iPadOS devices use a single standard print technology/driver called AirPrint - which communicates with compatible printers.

Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch – Apple Support

That said, you may find that your printer manufacturer has an installable companIon App for your devices that extends the capabilities of the built-in AirPrint driver.
