More of half of my storage is used by “other” what is it? I’m trying to make space.

My iPhone is out of space, I have eliminated apps to a minimum. I see that more than half of my space is being used by “other” what is it?

Storage: “other”category My storage is full on my iPhone and I’ve deleted many apps and photos. When I look at what’s taking up the most space it’s the “other” category. It is taking up 22.78 GB!! I don’t know how to reduce the size of this. Please help!
