i am not able to turn off two factor identification, i have sign in apple id than clicked on security and then i clicked on edit ,after that there is no option showing for turn off two factor kindly help me on this problem.

I did unenrolled but today it is asking again to have the code verification etc.

Apple have changed its mentality a lot. They started to not give their customers control of their apple devices and their own choices. However, I really ****** off. Starting tomorrow, I will sell my iPhone and my iMac etc.. and restart new life with Microsoft and others. That is a shame.

I did not get an enrollment confirmation email - it just did it when I downloaded iOS14

But I didn’t get an email with a link. Since I just upgraded to iOS 14 last night will I get an email? How did you do it with the link- does the link give you steps?

I don’t use Apple Pay, Apple Card, or home kit. I don’t send messages to the cloud

They do if you are using the current OS.

If you recently updated your account, however, you can unenroll for a period of two weeks. Just open your enrollment confirmation email and click the link to return to your previous security settings.

If you don't want it, I would try to change it back asap. I got an email with a link and did have to change my password to do it, but was able to turn it off. They make it default to the 2 step authentication. I did change it without realizing it and had to change my password, which I didn't want to do, to go back. But was able to do it.

If you have been enrolled more than 2 weeks, you can't sign out.

If less than 2 weeks, just open your enrollment confirmation email and click the link to return to your previous security settings.
