I have a mid-2011 MacBook Air which I love, but it will not connect to my business’s Microsoft-based shared drive. I am thinking about updating to the new 2020 13” MacBook Air, but wonder it that would be more likely to connect to the shared drive

I have a mid-2011 MacBook Air which I love and which continues to work well for me in almost all ways I need. However, it will not connect to my business’s Microsoft-based shared drive. I am thinking about updating to the new 2020 13” MacBook Air, but would like to know if it would be able to connect to that shared drive.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.13

Greetings gaeton,

We understand that you are having some difficulty connecting to a shared drive hosted by Microsoft, and we'd like to get you started in the right direction. For help determine the system requirements to connect to this shared drive, we encourage you to contact the administrators of that shared drive, or Microsoft directly, so they can help you ensure your new Mac will do everything you need it to do.

Take care.
