I have old iPod mini with 8 gigabite storage. How do I adjust the volum?

This is a user to user support forum. Answers may come if someone reads your post and thinks they have something useful to offer. Not personally familiar with the differences between an iPod mini, which I've never seen, and the iPod classic which I own, but hopefully the iPod mini user guide will help you out.

I assume you're talking about the iPod nano, as the iPod mini never came in 8GB. For almost all iPods with a click wheel, you can move your finger around the click wheel while on the Now Playing screen to adjust the volume.
