I have recently purchased an iTunes card so that I could buy stuff on my game. Whenever I try to buy something all it says is you must verify a payment method. When I try to verify my iTunes card it won’t even let me tap it

I can’t purchase anything because when I try to all that shows up is please verify a payment method and when I try to verify my Apple iTunes card it won’t even let me tap it

go here - If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store

and here - Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods

You need to add a valid payment credit/debit card, this is standard even if you are downloading a free app or using a pre-paid giftcard.
