The promise of the latest iOS 13.6.1 update was to eliminate the unnessary files and my space got worst than before. The download installation file was not removed after the update and it gets worst on etc and other files.....
Either Apple fix this or the stocks will be down and down........ everybody in the world is complaining about this same issue... FIX IT!

This can often reduce storage corruption in your Other but doesn't always fix it. You'll need to move on to the next step. You will have to backup your phone, and then set it up with the back-up you should create beforehand to avoid losing data.
Follow the steps at https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT203977 before erasing my device and restoring it with that back-up which hopefully should fix that.
If you really don't want to go down that route you could try Changing Messages Settings so your messages delete sooner, by default it is set to keeping forever. Deleting your browsing data and closing down tabs on Safari also helps. If I can be of any further assistance please let me know.
