iMac Data Transfer

Can data from an older None Running iMac be transferred to a new iMac machine to machine?

If you backed up the old Mac using Time Machine sure, connect it to the new Mac using a usb cable and launch Migration Assistant. If you had no backup well you still may be able to but it depends on what failed. If the HD failed and you have no backup you’re OOL.if the HD in the old Mac is good, remove it from the Mac, install it in an enclosure and connect that to the new Mac and run Migration Assitant.
