Verify email address to log into iCloud on Chrome...

Hello all. Pretty experienced in most things Apple but this one has me pretty perplexed and going round in circles.

I'm trying to login to my iCloud account in the normal way in chrome simply to access my emails but after entering my 2 factor authentication code shown on my phone, I keep getting the below error message. I'm using my normal iCloud email address (which is working fine on all other devices - iPad/iPhone/MacBook) and i don't have any other @me.com email addresses.

Anyone had this and know how to fix? Thanks in advance & stay safe and all that x

Hi there. There's definitely an issue with my account. I have now received the verification email from Apple with a code to verify my email address to be able to log in.

After entering the code i'm presented with the below:

This is definitely my email address (as it'd the one at which i recoeved the verification code)

Any suggestions? It's very frustrating not being able to simply log into to my icloud on any browser.

Hi there. There's definitely an issue with my account.

After what felt like a bit of progress, I have now received the verification email from Apple with a code to verify my email address to be able to log in.

To clarify, please see below process to simply log into my account.

I log in as normal:

I'm presented with the usual 2 factor check:

I receive 2 factor code on my idevice:

I enter the code received on my iPhone and am taken to the below screen;

I then enter the code sent to my email address (which i can access via mail app) below:

And am then presented with the below: (Almost as if i'm trying to make a new account)

Does anyone have any ideas. It's becoming more inconvenient as i don't always ave access to mail apps.

Apple sent you an email to the Email account that you provided. Open your email account and find the letter that has a subject of something like "Apple Confirmation." Open it and click the link to confirm that you are the rightful owner of the account.

Looking at the image that you sent, you need to type in the original email that you signed the account with.

Then....

The verify "button" should have been sent to you by the email that you signed-up with. Check your spam or promotional inbox in case it might have been categorized incorrectly. To resend the confirmation email Contact Support
