MacBook Air 2014 needs frequent SMC and PRAM resets to start up.

I have a MacBook Air early-2014. recently it needs lots of frequent SMC and PRAM resets to turn on. I have reinstalled MacOS several times hoping it would fix the issue but it doesn't seem to fix it. what do I do?

MacBook Air I returned to my MacBook after a few days of not using it, and there was a message that the system had run out of application memory (weird...). So, I followed the recommendation and Force Quit a bunch of applications. In order to just "start fresh", I decided to kill all applications and simply restart the whole machine. Now that I've killed the applications and restarted the computer, it won't boot. It simply displays a gray circle with a white lightning bolt on it, moving around the screen, screensaver-style. If I unplug the AC power cord, a battery indicator is displayed at the bottom of the screen. I attempted an SMC reset, but that doesn't help. What's going on, and what should I do?

SMC reset I reset the SMC on my macbook pro, and now it wont start. it switches on, fan running at full speed, and the progress bar gets half way, and then stops

Have to do PRAM reset every time Macbook Air is turned on 3 issues really - 2 related MAC shuts off if not on constant cord power (assume battery is bad, which I saw online quote for about $129). Have to do a PRAM reset every time my MAC starts up or I only get cap mode Even after PRAM reset, the left side of the keyboard won't respond to Caps/Shift Before I bring it in, I wanted to make sure I have done all I can do about the PRAM issue. Thx for any help
