Camera Shutter Sound

Is it possible to turn off the camera shutter sound when taking a photo?

I’ve tried to put the phone on silent, do not disturb, put the volume on the lowest and even use third party camera apps such as Snapchat.

There are many countries where putting camera shutters to silent is illegal (e.g. Japan)

Hence if you have bought an iPhone from Japan or any of these countries, you cannot put it off, it has been designed specific for the country

MWHM2J/A - "J" indicates it is designed for Japan
