This question was probably asked before. But getting the right docking station for the laptop is close to impossible. Any alternatives to still use a docking station somehow? Maybe somehow a port from Lightning to USB-C or something?
Thanks for your response. Although I couldn't really find any on ebay. All the search results point me to the ones using thunderbolt 3. If you don't mind, would you send me some links for the same. Maybe my search keyword is not specific enough to locate it.
Use quotes to restrict it, "Thunderbolt 2" dock. eBay search.
Your Mac has Thunderbolt 2, so you'd need a TB2 dock. There were good docks before 2018, but they're all now TB3. Your best bet is probably a used one from eBay, they're available for $150-200.
