Left airpod diconnects during the call

My left airpod disconnects after few seconds during the call. If I am just using it to listen to music it works fine. I tried resetting my aipods as instructed on apple support but no luck.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 13

If the sound from your wireless headphones cuts out or is distorted

You might also try a full reset:

Reset your AirPods

I accidentally clicked on "this solved my question". However my issue still persists even after I did the reset.
