Not from Apple, though there are folks in most locales with the tooling and abilities to engrave most any solid object.

There are also cases, skins, stickers, laser engraving, and other customizations available from various third-parties.

You will have to check with Apple; however, one thought: if you do engrave it with something personal, it would be about impossible to sell it when you want to get a newer model.

While the case may be engraved, the depreciation of the MacBook/Air (or any mac portable)

may cost more to the loss of value than other ideas. ~ One such would be to get an aluminum

stick on label; and have that engraved. At least it would promise to be removable at later date.

Certainly none of these cosmetic effects would prevent theft, nor would enhance trackability.

A concern around skins and always-on cases is cooling. Custom looks can be nice. Macs that can’t shed heat quickly are not.
