Apple ID password

I have a new appleID password. on setting/updateAppleID settings/continue/ask to enter password- I do and it says Verification failed an unknown error occurred?

I have had this error for several weeks and just now changed password and did not help.

Also:

My iPhone has not backed up for several weeks

find my phone is not working- says unavailable

when typing text offen freezes at name. I have to close app, turn off phone for it to work

 Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.


Try a restart.


Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch         


Try a forced restart.


Reset Device.      


If necessary


Hard reset.        


Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.


Restore to Factory setting.      


Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup.

Receiving the message you received is common. But, I have not seen a definitive solution for it.
