Screen Recording in Privacy Settings

Hi there! I'm trying to get premiere pro to allow access to screen record. I went into my Macbook Pro settings-->privacy-->screen recordings, but don't see premiere pro as an option to check the box off. How do i add that to the list? I need to be able to use the screen recording on the mac instead of a 3rd party recording app. I know this is possible because on my desktop computer, I have Premiere Pro checked off in the screen recordings tab in settings.

Adding a picture to what I see.

Hope anyone can help. Much appreciated!!

Unless I’m missing something, all you’d have to do is make your screen recording normally (use Command-Shift-5 and use the Screenshots application; or else use Quicktime Player and do File->New Screen Recording).

Then in Premiere you just import the screen recordings like any other video file.

What am I missing?

You are not trying to record the screen in Premiere itself, which would be the situation that would require the permission you described.

So I use UpWork for freelance work and it takes screenshots of my computer every 10 minutes. When I work on my desktop, it takes the screenshot of the program that I am using (Premiere Pro), but when I do it on my laptop, it takes it of my home screen even though I have Premiere Pop open and am using it. On my desktop, I had to allow access for screen recording, but there's not that option on my laptop.
