Does custom EQ data transfer from iTunes to Apple Music on iPhone when synced?

I’ve been experimenting with revising my EQ in iTunes, and it works flawlessly in the app. If I set custom EQs for different artists in my iTunes, how do I know for sure that those EQs will be synced to my Apple Music library (same music, of course)? I’ve read on another thread that setting the EQ to a preset on the idevice (iPhone etc.) will override any custom EQ setting from iTunes (I can confirm this), while turning EQ off on iPhone simply will leave you without any EQ at all , which makes it seem like there’s nothing that can be done to get those custom EQs from iTunes into one’s music library. I would think that EQ off on iPhone —> default/custom EQ from iTunes being able to play through. Any and all help would be appreciated greatly.
