after upgrading to IOS 13.5, my phone’s screen developed a green fluorescent patch on top right corner and the screen had a green tint which increased with the brightness setting at the lowest point.
i upgraded to IOS13.6.1 which should have rectified this issue. My screen got back to normal after this upgrade, unfortunately the next day; i had the same issue.

Did anyone solved this? My phone started showing this green patch this week, I didn’t even let it fall, I was using it and then it showed this out of nowhere. It vanished after a while but today it showed again after I let my phone with just 1% of battery, and it vanished after reached 100% and I used it for a little.
I had this issues before. And then I reset all settings and then it was fine. Afterwards I replaced the battery. And it is still works well.
so after I updated to iOS 14.4, and without warning or anything happen, it just suddenly appears again. The funny thing is when I do a screenshot, then boom, it went away by itself.... even the screenshot did not capture it. can anyone confirm that this is a hardware or software issue????
Hi, any updates on the problem? It is very concerning that Apple would sell its customers a glitched product and then require the same customers to pay an outrageous amount to fix it. My iPhone X's screen turned green last week also. There is a green patch on the top left corner and plus the screen has a green tint on it. It is very annoying to look at. I had try restarting my phone, adjusting display setting, hard reset and setting reset but nothing worked. It seems that this is a very common issue happening to Apple's products and they should look into this.
I’m so angry. It started getting worse after updating to 14.4.1. Now my whole screen is green, and Apple doesn’t have a Genius Bar or an authorized store in my city, so I have to drive more than 200km to try to solve this problem. I’m so done with apple, but I can’t even sell my IPhone X because of this defect.
well I went to istore and they’ve told me it’s coz of defective display and it needs to be replaced (btw this is the second time my screen was replaced! After a month buying this phone the screen went totally black!) I’m never gonna spend $500 for its repair! Ridiculous. I email apple support but no response till now.
What I’ve read on Google one of my Apps is maliciously using my camera, recommends going to setting>Privacy>Camera to check which one might be responsible, I did that, found so many Apps have requested and got permissions so I turned them all off, green bar still there, maybe a Trojan in the mix somewhere...
I have the exact same issue, I was using my phone and suddenly the display brightness got up and down and started showing the green patch on left top corner. I tried hard reset, full data reset and updated my phone. But no luck it wouldn’t go, it’s starting to get on my nerves now
I have my problem too top left.. i purchase an lcd i think its tft lcd and not oled because black is not pure black.. and i put back my oled that has green problem and it work well for 2 weeks but after i upgraded to ios 14.5 it start to glitch again :(
I got the same problem. I think it could be because of moisture or dust build up in earpiece. I had it for three days and finally I left it to play music on full volume on a table and slowly it disappeared in like 10 min. I tried everything, hard reset, update, restore but nothing worked

Hello, I contacted Apple care. They suggested to do hard reboot (click volume up, then volume down and immediately press side button).
when I try the step 1st time, half of the patch has gone. I repeated couple of times and the patch has vanished. Pls see if this works for others. Thank you.
Did you find same problem after changing battery, I'm going to do the same bcz me also facing same problem for 3 months since IOS update. My battery capacity has gone under 80% and the green patch problem getting even worse. Let me know is it better to change battery or display.
Yeah my phone just randomly did it today while laying on my pillow, one second it was fine the next I pick it up and boom my screen was messed up like how you described.
