after upgrading to IOS 13.5, my phone’s screen developed a green fluorescent patch on top right corner and the screen had a green tint which increased with the brightness setting at the lowest point.
i upgraded to IOS13.6.1 which should have rectified this issue. My screen got back to normal after this upgrade, unfortunately the next day; i had the same issue.

A follow up of what I did:
I reset all settings (did not erase the data. Just reset all settings) and the green patch was gone. I have use it for 5 days and the green patch did not appear at all. However, after I reset the settings, I found out that my battery health is less than 80% and it require replacement. This makes me wonder if it is battery related......
Yeah my phone just randomly did it today while laying on my pillow, one second it was fine the next I pick it up and boom my screen was messed up like how you described.
Hi I experienced same issue right now in my iPhone X, there’s a green patch on top left corner and has a green tint screen. How’s you phone any update? Have you fix it?
I left the on a table with music playing on full volume. I don’t know the reason but it worked. It slowly disappeared.

Mee too facing same problem with my IPhone X.After replacing the front screen within warranty period again after 2 years of buying got the problem with screen. Went to Apple service centre and they are charging Rs.25000 . So My question is why Apple selling such faulty products.. why after buying IPhone we have to face such issues. After buying such expensive iPhone again if we again have to pay huge to repair the phone then it’s not a good thing with name Apple. I use my phone very gently then also facing such issues. I want explanations from Apple on this. And people please stop buying iPhone.
hey Malachi, i am very dissappointed with Apple service their child parts is very expensive ,if i will give for repair my display cosy is ₹25k which is huge to spent & in 50k new phone is available
Facing the same issue. Reset All Settings helped once. But, it started again yesterday and it has been showing the green patch on the top left of my iPhone X. I tried Reset All Settings, but it did not help me this time.
Has anyone found a solution apart from getting screen replaced?
Did anyone solved this? My phone started showing this green patch this week, I didn’t even let it fall, I was using it and then it showed this out of nowhere. It vanished after a while but today it showed again after I let my phone with just 1% of battery, and it vanished after reached 100% and I used it for a little.
Hi, any updates on the problem? It is very concerning that Apple would sell its customers a glitched product and then require the same customers to pay an outrageous amount to fix it. My iPhone X's screen turned green last week also. There is a green patch on the top left corner and plus the screen has a green tint on it. It is very annoying to look at. I had try restarting my phone, adjusting display setting, hard reset and setting reset but nothing worked. It seems that this is a very common issue happening to Apple's products and they should look into this.
I’m so angry. It started getting worse after updating to 14.4.1. Now my whole screen is green, and Apple doesn’t have a Genius Bar or an authorized store in my city, so I have to drive more than 200km to try to solve this problem. I’m so done with apple, but I can’t even sell my IPhone X because of this defect.
My iPhone X did the exact same thing this morning!!! I’ve been having problem after problem with it and am sick and tired of pouring money into this phone just for it to break again the next time it updates. My screen turned completely green at one point (photo reference) but I was able to regain access into my phone by force restarting it. Now, I have a fluorescent green in the top right hand side of my phone and the entire right hand side is a dark green tint.

What I’ve read on Google one of my Apps is maliciously using my camera, recommends going to setting>Privacy>Camera to check which one might be responsible, I did that, found so many Apps have requested and got permissions so I turned them all off, green bar still there, maybe a Trojan in the mix somewhere...
I have the exact same issue, I was using my phone and suddenly the display brightness got up and down and started showing the green patch on left top corner. I tried hard reset, full data reset and updated my phone. But no luck it wouldn’t go, it’s starting to get on my nerves now
hello, I am getting the similar issue. All of sudden there is a green patch on top right corner of iphone X. Tried resetting the phone, updated the ios to 14.5 but no use. Pls help if there is an fix...due to lockdown i couldnt reach Apple service center. Pls help.
