Devices not apearing in Finder sidebar

iPhone and iPad don't show up in Finder sidebar on my new 2020 MacBook Pro

In Finder, click on Finder (at the menubar), Preferences, Navigation bar. Look under Locations and check CD’s, DVD’s and iOS devices

My Finders shows iPods....nothing about iOS devices.
The finder sidebar shows OS devices in locations, but not my specific iPhone e that is currently connected
I did not receive a Trust this device message.

In Finder, you are looking at Preferences and under the first tab: General. Click on the third tab: "Sidebar"
