Numbers keeps crashing after around two edits. All updates are completed. Any suggestions?

I have tried copying and pasting my table into a new document and that didn't work either.

My suggestion was to start over from scratch if it isn't that much to recreate. My premise was that something in your table is making it crash and that copy/pasting it from one place to another just copy/pastes the problem and the problem will persist.

If you can create the exact same problem in a fresh document (one that does not include a copy/paste of your problematic table/data) then it may be a bug to be reported.

I also wanted to mention that highlighting a row and hitting delete is not the same as deleting a row. Delete clears out the cells but leaves them in place, delete row removes the row of cells from the table.

What happens when you start with a fresh new document? You should not be having this problem but there's not much we can do about that other than trying to get around whatever the issue is. It is possible there is something in the table you are copy/pasting that is causing the problem and it is carrying over into a new document.

If a fresh document works and if you haven't gotten very far, it might be easiest to start over. If you've gotten a ways and don't want to start over, we can try other ideas.

Thanks for your suggestion.

I did try a new document and copy and pasted my table, and it still crashed. Then, within the original document I created a new table and then copy and pasted the content from the original table and have only experienced the crashing a few times- not like before. I think this may be as good as I am going to get.
