My iPhone 7 home button not going home when I press it. It definitely works as I can feel the click when I press on it, but I can’t go home. I can do everything else except go home. I can multitask, reachability, Touch ID, etc. dunno what is wrong

okay, the issue seems to have been resolved. I updated the phone to iOS 13.6.1 and it started working again. Just a software problem1!
But the button is not broken, it just doesn’t go home! If I can do everything else with the home button, then there is no reason that it can’t go home.
