Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Using ipad pro 11 2020 Files keep disappearing from the PAGES APP. This is the third time this has happened. They appear, then disappear. It is VERY VERY FRUSTRATING. I did NOT delete ANY files. They just disappear.
What do i have to do to keep my files on my ipad and not the cloud?
Please keep in mind i am NOT an experienced Apple user.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That little cloud icon is NO WHERE on my current files.
There are still over 900 files that just went missing. This is 3rd time files went missing and i dont know how to get them back. Last 2 times they re-appeared. None of my settings have been changed 😭😭😭

If you don’t see the download icon, those files are on your device and there is no need to download them. Did you look in the On my iPad section of iCloud Drive?
