MacBook Pro 2020 wallpapers

I have a 2020 MacBook Pro 2020, 13’’, but I have not the wallpapers I see on the product page on Apple website. Is it normal?

No...I din't explained better...I try one more time:

  1. I use Mac since 2004, so I know how to change the wallpaper
  2. I know I can download extra wallpaper and/or use my own pictures as wallpapers. I know haw to do that, I know where to place the pictures, etc.
  3. I got a 2020 MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports), but when I go in: System Preferences->Desktop and screensaver->Desktop the wallpapers used to promote my model (see here: https://www.apple.com/macbook-pro-13/) are not available

I just asked if it is normal and/or if someone else with my same Mac has the same experience.

Thanks

Hi,

thanks for your reply, but even if I have the latest version of the macOS and I follow the instructions to change the wallpaper, still I can’t find the one below on my MacBook Pro 2020

Verify you have 2020 from the >About this Mac

If you do not see it—you can always download it...

Hi Gl4th,

It sounds like you are missing some Apple wallpapers on your Mac. We can help with this.

Make sure you are running the latest version of macOS on your Mac to take advantage of all the available Apple wallpapers. You can find out more information about how to update your Mac here: How to update the software on your Mac

Once you are fully updated, be sure to follow these steps to change your desktop picture: Change the desktop picture (background) on your Mac

We hope this helps.

Cheers!

From the Finder>Go>Go to Folder> copy and paste:

/System/Library/Desktop Pictures

Thank you,

I know how to download the image, and how to save it in the right folder to see it in the preferences, too.
But my question is different: "is it normal" that a 2020 MacBook Pro has not the wallpapers that Apple uses to promote the product?

I hope this time I explained it better.

It is more common that you are not looking in the correct directory.
