iphone is disabled. (forgot password) Need to make sure my info. is backed up before erasing phone.

Hi:

Last night, my iphone locked for some reason and wanted a password to unlock. I didn't recall ever putting in a password, however, attempted several and finally, my phone became disabled. I have icloud backup and even have extra storage that I pay for monthly from a debit/credit card. Since it says "disabled", it also states to connect to itunes. We have a family account and I can view all of my songs after logging in. However, I don't know how to view all of my iphone information in the cloud and would like to before erasing my phone and reinstalling everything. How can I do that?

Hello!

You will have to restore your phone from a backup if you made one if you forgot the passcode. You can figure out how here.

Finding all your information on iCloud is really easy. Go to https://icloud.com and log in with your Apple ID and password. You should be able to find your contacts, notes, etc. from there. You can download the iTunes app and log in their if you need to find your music.

Hopefully this helped, if you needed anything else, let me know and clarify.
