Please double check something-

Open Settings ➔ Messages ➔ MMS Messaging - Set this to ON.

1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone exactly as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

(2)  If the above does not work then -  Please contact your carrier and determine whether there is any issue at their end.

Hey there! Just a few questions:

—Is there an error message?

How much free storage do you see in Settings > General > iPhone Storage?

—Can you try sending/receiving with WiFi turned on, and cellular off, and vice versa (WiFi off and cellular days on), and see if there’s a difference?

—Also, can you test to see if the person you’re texting, Or the person texting you has an iPhone or some other device (Android etc).

—Can you test on both devices, to see if either iMessage or Cellular isn’t functioning correctly?

Those answers might help, cheers.
