Can I purchase more gb space on my current i pad 5th generation?

Sorry no. You cannot expand internal iPhones/iPads capacity.
To make room, you need to delete some stuff from your iPad's storage.

If you have a 5th gen iPad, you should try updating it to the latest iPadOS version (now 13.6.1). It can help to better manage your internal storage.

When I go into the storage, it shows most of the storage is apps. I have deleted most the ones i don't use often. I am not even seeing my mail. I am not very technical but I am trying. don't know what to do next ?
I have tried, but it says i don't have enough space for update. Kind of stuck in revolving door. Thanks so far.
