Restrictions Apple News App
Anyone else have this issue: unable to open Apple News App due to “Restrictions enabled“, when they are actually not enabled?

I solved the issue myself by selecting a new region at random ( used Switzerland) , and then resetting the region back to US.
After a lot of online research it appears the addition of another keyboard may also cause this error.
Apple Support did not come up with suggestions. I had tried a reset and as well as a complete restore from a computer backup to no avail.
