Apple series 4 watch no response when raising my wrist

The face of my Apple Series 4 watch does not respond when I lift my wrist. How to fix?

Also, on the face of watch at the top in the center is an orange icon of a face. Why?

New Apple 7 watch, does not respond when sliding fingers on face. Is there a setting that has locked the screen? I got a new Apple Watch 7 series, yesterday. Worked fine. Now will not respond to get notifications, or see battery, etc. when sliding my fingers on face. Nothing happens when sliding my finger any direction, except for left & right to change watch face. Is there a setting I may have messed up?

watch face turning on when tilt up with wrist. My Series 4 watch stopped illuminating when I tilt my wrist. This just seems to randomly happen. I checked my phone app and everything seems to be in the right configuration.

You may be in Theater Mode. To turn off, see:
