IPad front camera freezes during video conferencing

My front camera freezes during video conferencing on my iPad. I have update my iOS, deleted and reloaded apps and still the camera freezes rendering my iPad useless for meeting. It is the only device I have to use for video conferencing and meetings at this time. It happens on Zoom, FaceTime BlueJean, Google Meet and the MS meeting app. Same problem. I log in, select the camera and the microphone for the meeting and my front facing camera works for a few seconds and then freezes. The microphone continues working. I can close the camera or sometimes just do a switch from front facing to back And it will unlock for a few seconds to a minute. Any help is much appreciated.

It sounds like you are experiencing issues with your camera when trying to video conference from your iPad. We can get you pointed in the right direction for support.

Have you tried to video conference while connected to a different Wi-Fi network? We ask because we would like to rule out any issues with your network connection.

Also, you mentioned that you've updated your iPad and uninstalled the applications. These are great troubleshooting steps. Have you had a chance to restart your iPad as well? If not, let's go ahead and do that now with these steps: Restart your iPad

yes, I should have added that I have tried this on multiple wifi networks as well as restarted the iPad. I have gone through all the suggestions in the attached article about a camera not working properly. Unfortunately it still will freeze.
